Chairman's Message - December 2015
The end of the year is fast arriving and the new year is on its way. This will be a very important year for our country. The presidential election will capture the attention of many Americans. Of course, that is not the only election that matters. In Sonoma County we will be involved in the election of an Assemblyman and a State Senator. There are also races for city councils and school boards. The Party is also very interested in speaking to anyone who might want to run for a local office.
The next Republican Debate will be on December 15th in Las Vegas. We plan to meet again at Round Table Pizza on Occidental Road. The debate starts at 6:00 p.m. Come join your fellow Republicans and watch your favorite candidates.
By the way, the next Democrat debate is on December 19th at 5:00 p. m. PST. It will be on ABC. Listen to all the original ideas Hillary, Bernie and Martin have to offer.
In celebration of our new office we are having an open house on Wednesday, December 16th starting at 5:30 p.m. Our office is located at 1421 Guerneville Road, Suite 110 in Santa Rosa. We look forward to meeting Sonoma County Republicans and celebrating Christmas and the New Year.
As many of you know, elections are won by walking precincts and speaking to voters. Getting out the Republican vote is going to be very important for so many California races. Come and talk to us about what you might be able to do to help. We will be giving people who want to help precinct lists of their precincts so that they can get to know their neighbors.
Many of you may not know that the California Republican Party is not giving any money to the local county parties. We must raise our own funds for rent and community activities such as the rental of the fair booth. If you are able to donate any amount, it would be much appreciated. Our post office box is P.O.
