I hope you had a very Happy Thanksgiving! We have a lot to be thankful for! We live in the greatest country on earth; where every man and woman, regardless of skin color, gender or how they worship, have the opportunity to live in a free republic!
We are also thankful that Donald J Trump will be our next President. To celebrate his Inauguration, please join us on January 20, 2025 at the DoubleTree Hilton in Rohnert Park for a dinner and dance! Tickets are on sale now.
Celebrate the holiday season with us on Wednesday December 18th at the Sonoma GOP Holiday Party at Druid’s Hall in Santa Rosa from 7-9pm. It is our annual pot luck so there is no cost to attend. We only ask that you bring your family, friends and a dish to share. Please join us!
With the results from election day, Republicans have a generational opportunity to truly shape America’s future. We won the electoral college, popular vote, US Senate and House of Representatives! The biggest question left is what will we do with this opportunity?
Even California voted more Republican! The majority of Californians voted to make crime a felon again, voted against minimum wage increases and imposing rent control. Both of the State Senate and State Assembly will see an increase in Republicans being sworn in this month. The Democrats are freaking out as Gavin Newsom ignores the writing on the wall and continues down his path of recklessness!
It wasn’t all victories for California Republicans though. It looks like we may lose three Republican members of Congress; Michelle Steel, Mike Garcia and John Duarte. Thank you all for your service! A majority of Californians still do not understand how Democrats and their policies will continue to increase California’s cost of living, continue to destroy the middle and working classes and chase hundreds of thousands of more Californians to seek refuge in other states!
As the momentum from Election Day is swinging to the right, we cannot take a break and think President Trump will fix everything. Right here in Sonoma County, we have a Democrat majority on almost every government board, council and commission. The results have created a very expensive county and a deteriorating quality of life. We must start now winning back our local government. It wasn’t long ago that Republicans could regularly win in Sonoma County. We can do it again!
The Sonoma County Republican Party will soon start preparing for the elections in 2026. Our successes will depend on how many of you join us. We have 40 school boards, 9 city/town councils and numbers of fire and water districts that need better representation. With your help we can elect more conservatives to local office and bring back fiscal sanity and proper policies to our local government. Our children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews deserve an opportunity at success here at home in Sonoma County!
It has been an honor to serve you as the Chairman of the Sonoma County Republican Party. With the help of my fellow officers, committee member and many of you, we have built a political party that is truly affecting positive change. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of it!
At our meeting in November, the committee nominated Sonoma County Republican Party officers for the next term. After careful consideration and prayer, I decided to not seek reelection as Chairman. Please join me in congratulating the nominees for 2025-26 Officers of the Sonoma County Repubican Party
