Happy Fourth of July and Happy Birthday to the United States of America. This is a time to thank God for this wonderful gift of our Constitution and our country.
We have busy times ahead. The Sonoma County Fair is starting on August 2nd and closes on August 12th. We welcome those Republicans who are able to work at our booth. Send an email to email@example.com if you wish to volunteer. We have to check all volunteers on Megan’s Law. There will be a web site where you will be able to sign up for specific times to volunteer. Watch our web site for all the details.
The annual trip that candidates take through the Northwest Region will take place on September 8th and 9th. The counties include Sonoma, Mendocino, Humboldt, Del Norte, Trinity, Lake, Yolo, Napa and Solano.

I want to give out correct information on the voter turnout for the June primary. The initial statistics stated that turnout was 26%. The count is officially completed and the Registrar’s information now is total voter turnout was 49.7%. That is much better than 26% but still just under half of registered voters.
We had a very successful meeting with Susan Tully of Fair (Federation for American Immigration Reform). She gave information and statistics that are being totally ignored by the mainstream media. It is truly sad that the media which prides itself on being the fourth estate is doing such a poor job of journalism.
We will be working on contacting voters regarding our candidates. Phone callers will be much appreciated as will be walkers since we will have door hangers.
Mark Meuser, candidate for Secretary of State is going to be on a bicycle tour of the 58 counties. He will be in Santa Rosa on Tuesday, July 10th at 7:00 p.m. Mark will be at Juilliard Park on Santa Rosa Avenue to meet with supporters and discuss what he will do as Secretary of State. Come and meet Mark. This gathering will last for about an hour.
