Greetings to all Sonoma County Republicans and those sitting on the fence. The political climate is certainly heating up. The political roller coaster is getting faster.
We had a wonderful Lincoln Day Dinner with our speaker, Mr. Jim Brulte, Chairman of the California Republican Party. He gave us a great deal of information about the state of the Party and various races in California. Jim was very informative and also very entertaining. We had an excellent turnout and as usual the Flamingo Hotel provided excellent service.
The Sonoma County Republican Party has reserved Round Table Pizza at Coddingtown for the next presidential debates. Those dates are Thursday, March 3rd and Thursday, March 10th. On March 3rd, the debate will be in Detroit and starts at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The debate on March 10th will take place in Florida and will probably start at 6:00 p.m. As we get closer to the 10th we will confirm the time. Come join us and chime in with your fellow Republicans.
There are two legislative campaigns that involve parts of Sonoma County. Greg Coppes is running for the State Senate in the 3rd district. Part of the district is in Sonoma County.
Charlie Schaupp is running for the Assembly in the 4th District. Parts of Sonoma valley and all of Rohnert Park are in the 4th district. We will need people to walk precincts in those areas. Remember: Elections are won by walking precincts. Let’s plan to win these elections and change the numbers in Sacramento and stop some of the terrible legislation being passed by a Democrat majority.
The Party is seeking candidates who are interested in running for city council seats. Please let us know if you are planning or interested in running for city council, school board and various board seats. Contact us at email@example.com or 542-7066.
We are planning for our annual Day at the Range. Stay tuned for date and time. Join us to exercise your second amendment rights.
We plan to have our office open a number of days each week. We are looking for people who will manage the office when it is open. E-mail our web site or leave a message at 542-7066.
Join us for our monthly meetings at 1421 Guerneville Road in Santa Rosa. We are in Room 110. We meet on the third Wednesday of the month. The meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. Come join your fellow Republicans.
