As we move into fall, the election season continues to warm up. The Party had a successful debate party on September 16th at Round Table Pizza on Occidental Road in Santa Rosa. We will be meeting again at Round Table for the next debate. We will probably gather for the Democrat debate also. That should be fun. Stay tuned.

Come and get answers to questions about the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) especiallywhat is in store for the country in 2016.
The Party has leased an office at 1421 Guerneville Road, Room 110. We have moved and are getting ready for the coming year. We look forward to having a place to meet and a central location to work. We are seeking donations for support of the office and support of campaigns. Thanks to all who have supported our efforts.
There is a great deal of news regarding politics in Washington. John Boehner has resigned and many people in the grassroots are very happy. The dysfunction in Washington makes a person yearn for the days of Ronald Reagan. President Reagan understood that he had to make his case to the American people and let the Democrats own what they do. Unfortunately, it appears that too many Republicans in leadership are willing to cave to the other side and do not know how to make their case. This fact is also relevant for Republican voters. We need to be informed and able to make our case to people who disagree with us or are uninformed. If we don’t start doing that we are going to lose our country.
For example, the war on police is planned and is meant to weaken police forces. Many of the demonstrators at police protests are funded by George Soros and other far left groups. These are not spontaneous demonstrations with people just deciding to travel across country and join a protest. It would be good reporting if the media actually covered Mr. Soros and his activities.
The Party is very interested in speaking with any Republicans who want to run for a city council, school board or commission position. Please contact us.
August was a sad time for the Party and for many people in Sonoma County. Jeff Tobes, one of our hardest working members passed away from cancer. His career as a teacher, supporter of the Historical Society and tireless worker for the Republican Party was inspiring. Jeff will be missed.
Let’s continue Jeff’s work. Come join us as we work to return our county and our country to the founding principles of this great nation.
