No Kings! How about no Queens, Princes or Princesses?
As we watched the demonstrations on the No Kings weekend a thought came to mind. How did these crowds of people across the country get together to demonstrate on a specific day? What spontaneity! What passion! These demonstrations must really have depth and meaning and commitment! That is what you are supposed to believe. Let us dig a little deeper.
Some background. If you are not aware you should know that there is a cadre of people in the United States who hate our American republic and our system of democracy. They are actively working to destroy our government and replace it with one that is beneficial for the elite while the "common man" is kept in his place. To achieve this goal it is necessary to have constant upheaval and dissatisfaction among the populace. Oh wait! That takes money! Well, guess where the money comes from?
500 groups with $3 Billion in revenues are behind the #NoKings protests and communist call for revolution. A permit for the "flagship" march in St. Paul, Minnesota stated that Indivisible, a national Democratic political advocacy organization, funded by George Soros, was the lead coordinator for the protest. Additionally, there is a network of radical socialist and communist organizations which are funded by Neville Roy Singham. Singham is an American tech tycoon and a committed communist living in China.
Singham has provided the finances behind a number of activist institutions that promote revolutionary socialist politics and are often collaborating with other groups in protest campaigns. Some of those groups are the People's Forum in New York, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, the ANSWER Coalition and the Communist regime in New York.
In Grand Rapids, Michigan the Freedom Road Socialist Organization had supporters gather at the Rosa Parks Circle stage at noon as part of the "Anti-Trump Contingent." This organization has led aggressive demonstrations which targeted Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations in Minneapolis. One of their messages stated: "People everywhere are becoming increasingly hostile to the Trump agenda, and more sympathetic to revolution. Now is not the time to sit on the sidelines, it's the time to go out and join the people, get our revolutionary message in front of them and turn a day of protest into long-term gains for the people's movements."
All of this current activity has a much older history. Yuri Bezmenov was a former KGB propaganda officer. He defected to the West in 1970. He was interviewed by G. Edward Griffin in 1984 and in that interview laid out with clinical precision how a free society can be destroyed from within. He was not talking tanks and missiles. He was talking patience, infiltration and the slow corruption of institutions. Four decades later and where are we? The progressive left didn't just drift toward democratic socialism. It has arrived in every one of our institutions and is debating if it should destroy anything that remains of our original institutions.
Bezmenov described a four-stage process of ideological subversion:
1) Demoralization - estimated a period of 15 to 20 years which would be roughly the time needed to educate one generation inside a corrupted academic framework. He estimated that when that generation reached positions of influence, no amount of factual information would alter their perception of reality. Anything that ran counter to what they had learned will be regarded as hate speech, misinformation or the ravings of extremists.
2) Destabilization - the objective is not to win the argument. It is to delegitimize the act of arguing. Ayn Rand described this technique in The Virtue of Selfishness; the argument from intimidation defined as the substitution of moral condemnation for logical discourse. If you cannot defeat an idea, you pathologize the person who holds the idea. You may have watched this play out in boardrooms, courtrooms and parent-teacher nights. Here is some of the language that is used to change the subject. Opposition to border enforcement becomes racism. Defense of biological reality becomes transphobia. Skepticism of climate policy prescriptions (not science) becomes anti-intellectualism.
3) Crisis - Perhaps 6 weeks of chaos as a climatic turning point in order to push society to a breaking point.
4) Normalization - This stage changes the appreciation of what the status quo looks like. The goal is to replace the old societal order with a new one – usually a totalitarian Marxist-Leninist system. The method to establish the new order often involves military intervention to eliminate the "useful idiots" (the original, idealistic but now unnecessary revolutionaries).
In order to battle this process of ideological subversion a patient, methodical rebuilding of subverted institutions is required. This is measured in generations, not election cycles. Obviously, the most important front is education. School choice legislation, classical charter schools and homeschooling represent genuine alternatives to the ideology taught in so many schools. That ideology is seen very clearly in so many of our universities.
Bruce Springsteen, Jane Fonda Joan Baez, Bernie Sanders, Tim Walz, Keith Ellison and Ilhan Omar appeared at a No Kings rally. It would appear that some people think these are the leaders we need in this country. However, they are just useful pawns with zero understanding about what is really going on in the country. Keeping America free is going to require a great deal of work from the average American who is not interested in the denigration of our nation's history and the principles the country was built on.
