Chairman's Message

 The deadline to file to run for school board is in just a few days, this Friday, August 9th! Running for school board may seem out of reach or too complicated, but we are here to answer questions about where to begin and what to expect. Serving on a local school board is an important opportunity to make a difference in your local community. You will have the ability to affect the quality of education for students and management of the school as a whole. Email candidates@sonomacountygop.org for more details. 

The Sonoma County Fair continues now through Sunday, August 11th. When visiting the fair, please make sure you stop by the Sonoma GOP booth in the Grace Pavilion and check out our selection of Trump hats, flags, t-shirts and a variety of election material.

Join us Wednesday, August 21st for this month’s committee meeting. The meeting starts at 7pm in the Cypress Room of the Finley Center in Santa Rosa. We will be discussing endorsements and preferences for state propositions, local measures and elections. All registered republicans are invited to attend.

In just a few weeks, the Sonoma County Republican Convention is taking place. We have a great lineup of speakers including Fox News Contributor Steve Hilton, Sonoma County Sheriff Eddie Engram and candidates for federal, state and local office. All attendees will receive a delicious pasta meal including drink and desert. The convention takes place at the Sara Lee and Richard’s Barn at the Sonoma County Fair Grounds from 3pm to 7pm. Tickets are available here.

Election Day, November 5th is fast approaching… ballots will be mailed out in two months. The Sonoma County Republican Party is gearing up our get out the vote and election integrity operations and we will need help. Our mandate is to turn out to vote as many registered republicans as possible and monitor/observe the ballot collection and tabulation process. This is a large undertaking and we need your help!
