"If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsiblity of every American to be informed"~Thomas Jefferson
The main responsibility of the Sonoma County Republican Central Committee is to inform Republican Voters about upcoming elections and candidates who are running for office. We provide candidate information and invite candidates to speak. We need every Republican voter to be informed and ready to vote in every election. In the recent election in November of 2025 there were over 20,000 Republicans who did not vote.
The Primary Election is scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Ballots begin arriving in our mailboxes the week of May 4th.
Our new Registrar, Evelyn Mendez posted on their website the following offices up for election here in Sonoma County. Candidate nominations open Monday, February 9th and close Friday, March 6, 2026.
Please note that our Sonoma County Registrar's Office has now moved to their new location at 3880 Brickway Blvd., in Santa Rosa, 707-565-6800. If you would like to work for the Registrar's office at a Vote Center or work in the ROV's office for the upcoming election, please apply click here.
In January we hosted the candidates for Supervisorial District 4. On Tuesday, February 24th at 7pm at the Finley Community Center we will be hosting another Town Hall consisting of candidates running for State offices. Check our website for details. We are asking for a $20 donation. Click here to reserve your seat. Patriot Club & Chairman Circle members are free.
Thank you to all our volunteers for your hard work and dedication to collect signatures for not only the Voter ID Initiative but also the Save Prop 13 Initiative. All the completed petitions have been mailed. Thank you.
