Change in Management

The Orenda Center, which has been Sonoma County’s lone residential alcohol and drug detox center for low-income residents has changed management.  Buckelew Programs will replace the current operator which is DAAC (Drug Abuse Alternatives Center).  DAAC has operated the 10 bed facility for more than a dozen years and will continue to provide other behavioral health programs in the county.  The new annual contract is the same as the current contract which is $544,909 for the operation of 10 beds, plus county coverage of overages.  The DAAC contract sunsets on June 30th.
