The Cloverdale Unified School District has selected a new superintendent. Glen Senestraro, Superintendent of the Fortuna Union High School in Humboldt County will officially start in Cloverdale on July 1. The Cloverdale Unified School District has 1,312 students in four schools:
Cloverdale High School, Washington School, Jefferson Elementary and Jefferson Pre-school.
The Roseland Public Schools District in Santa Rosa serves 2,766 students. The three schools in the district are Roseland Creek Elementary, Roseland Elementary and Sheppard Elementary. Raul Guerrero, current principal at Calistoga Junior High School and a former principal at Analy High School will be taking over for the current superintendent who has stepped down for health reasons. Mr. Guerrero has more than three decades of education experience and is bicultural and bilingual. He is a member of the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Latino Advisory Committee and the Santa Rosa Mayor’s Gang Task Force.
