It is critically important that United States citizens have a solid understanding of what is going on in the country and in the world. That is one way that responsible and informed decisions can be made.

Some history. The Biden administration let 5.5 to 6 Million unauthorized immigrants into the country. There were about 10.8 million border encounters. The number of gotaways is unclear but it is estimated to be around 2 Million. The total estimate of people coming into the United States as of 2023 was 14 Million. There is no specific number because many people just came and moved into the country. There never was any documentation about their entry.

Now, when Donald Trump states that many countries emptied their jails and their mental institutions, he was not wrong. It has been documented that many Americans were killed by people who were here illegally and had criminal records.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is a part of the Department of Homeland Security that enforces immigration and customs laws, focusing on border security, national security and public safety by investigating and removing individuals who violate these laws while also combating illegal movement of people and goods like drugs, weapons and counterfeit items. Their responsibilities include apprehending and removing undocumented immigrants, investigating transnational crime, protecting trade and ensuring the integrity of lawful immigration.

So, when ICE goes to a location in the country to remove these criminals suddenly there arises a group that is going to stop ICE and is going to make sure these criminals are free. Question: where did these protest groups suddenly come from?

Well, let’s meet our old friend: George Soros. He along with billionaire Neville Singham has the money and organization to get the protests going. Activists have been emailed and Move On and No Kings (Soros-funded groups) are ready. They already have a martyr in Minneapolis. Renee Nicole Good spent her last day following ICE agents in her SUV. When she drove her SUV at an agent, he shot her. Incidentally, the agent was hit by Good’s car. He has suffered internal injuries. The Soros groups immediately called it an “extrajudicial killing by ICE agents.” Laura Inghram was in Minneapolis and asked a demonstrator if she had a job. The woman replied that she was being paid for demonstrating.

Governor Tim Walz (who refers to ICE agents as the “Gestapo”) has stated that he would mobilize the Minnesota National Guard to “protect Minnesotans” from “rogue ICE agents.” All state officials have encouraged the voters to stop ICE agents from their duty.

Let’s take a look at the groups that provide money for demonstrators. Some organizations that oppose ICE enforcement receive philanthropic and municipal support. Legal defense groups partner with civil liberties organizations. Community mutual aid funds and local leaders provide direct assistance to families affected by ICE.

1)      Copal MN: a group that operates its own ICE sighting hotline, has received $50,000 from the Tides Foundation and an additional $185,000 from the Sixteen Thirty Fund.

2)     Defend the 612: trains those in the Twin Cities interested in “documenting ICE activity.”

Offers “Community Response Resources” which provides guidance on “Tracking Federal Agents.” Includes list of known ICE vehicles operating in the Twin Cities. Donations are accepted through Cooperation Cannon River, a Minneapolis-based “social and environmental justice” nonprofit that has received funding from Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, the Tides Foundation and the Solutions Project, a grantmaking organization founded by actor Mark Ruffalo.

3)     Sunrise Movement: a left-wing group founded to fight climate change and has now directed local chapters to fight the Trump administration. The group holds in-person “action trainings” on how to “stop ICE and build a revolution.” It also maintains a running list of the Twin Cities hotels that house ICE agents and organizes late-night “noise demonstrations” with the goal of making it “impossible” for those hotels to operate.”

4)     Sixteen Thirty Fund: a hub of undisclosed political spending on the American left. The group serves as a fiscal sponsor for other organizations, incubating and financing various progressive projects. The National Education Association has given $300,000 to this fund.

5)     Tides Foundation: a left-leaning donor advised fund based in the United States that manages over $1.4 Billion in assets. It was founded in San Francisco in 1976 by Drummond Pike. Tides distributes money from anonymous donors to other organizations which are often politically progressive. The National Education Association has given tens of thousands to the Tides Foundation

6)      Open Society Foundation: this is the George Soros organization.

ICE has arrested over 2,500 criminal illegal aliens in Minnesota as part of “Operation Metro Surge” since the operation started in late 2025. Of all the arrests, officials state that over 1,000 individuals had a prior criminal history. The individuals arrested include many convicted of crimes such as homicide, sexual assault, drug trafficking and domestic violence.

According to federal officials many of these criminal illegal aliens are in the community because local “sanctuary” policies prevent local law enforcement from honoring ICE detainer requests and transferring then to federal custody from local jails. For more information and statistics official government reports are available on the DHS website and the ICE website.

It appears that the people formenting the riots in Minnesota are not interested in the safety of the community. The destruction of legal government processes is the goal since that is how governments are brought down.
