Santa Rosa City Council Wages

The Santa Rosa City Council voted 6-0 to approve an 85% increase in salary.  That virtually doubled the salaries of council members from $9,600 to $17,760 a year and the mayor’s salary from $14,400 to $26,640.  Many people have not run for the council or have stepped down because of the financial struggle involved being on the council.
