Chairman's Message- October 2023

 Thank you for all who attended our evening with Steve Hilton this past weekend. Steve Hilton was absolutely superb and Congressional Candidate Chris Coulombe succintly laid out his campaign. It was a special night for conservative fellowship in Sonoma County.

Last month the California Republican Party met for their 2023 Fall Convention in Anaheim. Sonoma County GOP Delegates joined delegates from all over the state for the exciting weekend. Donald Trump kicked started the convention in front of over 1,500 supporters in attendance. Senator Tim Scott, Governor Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy attended and spoke to crowds of delegates. During the weekend delegates adopted a platform, new rules, resolutions and initiatives. The next California Republican Party Convention will be held on March 1st - 3rd in Santa Clara.

This month the Sonoma County GOP will hold district meetings throughout the county on October 18th. Invite your conservative friends and join us for a slice of pizza and conversation with like minded individuals. Hear what the Sonoma GOP has been up to and our plans for the future. The November meeting of the Sonoma County Republican Party will be held on Wednesday, November 15th. At this meeting, we will take up positions on US Senate, US Congress, State Assembly, local measures and state initiatives. The meeting will take place at 7pm at the Finley Center in Santa Rosa. All registered Republicans are invited to attend.

SAVE THE DATE: Wednesday, December 20th - Sonoma GOP Holiday Party

We are collecting warm clothing for our veterans in need. We are looking for donations of clean, new or lightly worn wool caps, beanies, blankets, gloves, scarves, socks, rain coats and waterproof jackets. Please drop off any donations at our office at 1421 Guerneville Rd. Suite 105 in Santa Rosa on Wednesdays or Saturdays from 10am to 2pm.
