All of the ballots have finally been counted in Sonoma County while statewide there are 70,000 ballots left to count. It is absolutely ridiculus that it takes four weeks to count ballots in California while states like Florida and Pennsylvania can count their ballots in one night!
Voter participation is down. Nearly half of California voters did not vote in this election. That is down from nearly 65% in 2018 and 81% in 2020. Here in Sonoma County, 66% of voters participated in this election.
The Sonoma County GOP Election Integrity Committee worked hard during the days surrounding Election Day. Volunteers monitored drop boxes, voting centers and the Registrar of Voters. Thank you to everyone of you who helped in this important work!
I would like to congratulate all of the local conservative candidates that will be sworn in as elected members of school boards, city councils, fire boards and water boards around the county. Thank you for serving our communities! We have a lot of work to do locally!
I would like to thank all of the volunteers who spent time getting out the vote. Between our mail, phone and walking program we made over 37,000 targeted voter contacts leading up to Election Day. Nothing makes a bigger difference when campaigning than direct voter outreach. Talking to a voter at their door or on the phone is the best way to win elections.
California did elect 2 new Republican members to Congress; Kevin Kiley and John Duarte. California played a major role in taking back the House of Representatives and retiring Nancy Pelosi.
On Tuesday, December 6th, the US Senate Special Election in Georgia will take place between Republican Herschel Walker and Democrat Senator Raphael Warnock. If you would like to make calls into Georgia please click here.
Join us and celebrate the Holiday Season on Wednesday, December 21st at 7:30pm in the Cypress Room at the Finley Center. This is a pot luck so please bring your favorite dish to share and invite your conservative friends & neighbors!
We have a lot of work to do next year if we are going to win in 2024! We need candidates, we need people to attend local city councils and school board meetings. We need your help.
Have a wonderful Holiday Season and I hope to see you on the 21st!
