Equus Restaurant and Fountaingrove Round Barn Replacement/Journey’s End

The 2017 fires radically changed much of Sonoma County.  Construction has started at the 124 room Fountaingrove Inn, Equus Restaurant and Fountaingrove Round Barn site at the northeast corner of Mendocino Avenue and Fountaingrove Parkway which the fires totally destroyed.  The 10 acre property will be home to 239 for-rent apartments.  Property owner Angelo Ferro is developing the property.  Vertical construction is expected to start in summer 2023 and is slated to be completed in 2025. 

Across the street from the Fountaingrove site, 162 affordable apartments for people 55 and older are going up at the site of the Journey’s End mobile home park which was almost 100% leveled by the 2017 fire. In addition, 260 market-rate homes are planned at the site.
