Assistant Sheriff Engram is registered as Unaffiliated.

Dave Edmonds is registered as a Republican.

Carl Tennenbaum is registered as a Democrat.

Kevin Burke just announced that he changed his registration from Republican to Democrat.

The Sonoma County GOP speaker series will host these candidates on February 28th at the  Finley Center. Check the web site at for more information.

Windsor Town Council Election – April 12

There will be three candidates for the vacancy on the Windsor Town Council which will be for the seven months remaining of now-mayor San Salmon’s council term.

Stephanie Ahmad  - Senior Associate Attorney with an international law firm. Board member and former president of the Windsor Unified School District.

Evan K. Kubota – former Marin County Sheriff’s Deputy; currently Director of field operations for a San Francisco-based private security firm.

Michael Wall –employed by a health care improvement company.

The major issue in the election is the proposed civic center project which is a proposal by developer Robert Green to build a 151 room hotel and conference center on the Town Green.

Mr. Kubota and Mr. Wall are against the project while Ms. Ahmad has not reached a decision.  Ms. Ahmad and Mr. Kubota are both registered Democrats. Mr. Wall is registered Unaffiliated.
