Chairman's Message - April 2021

It is an absolute joy to see our schools and economy opening back up. This has been a trying year for all of us; and truly a reminder why we as Republicans believe in limited government. The California lockdown and economic shutdown have been miserable excuses as the prescriptions to mitigate COVID-19. The past year has highlighted the failures of an over reaching government.
Later this month, we will have the official word from California's Secretary of State about recalling Gavin Newsom and his draconian policies. From all accounts, we have the signatures needed to force a recall election. The recall election will most likely take place in the fall. If you are interested in volunteering to help Recall Newsom, please email volunteer@sonomacountygop.org.
The Sonoma County GOP is planning a busy 2021 so please follow our website (www.sonomacountygop.org) for all upcoming events and activities. We have some exciting plans!
And remember, “Government is run by those who show up”. I hope to see you joining us in making 2021 the year good governance makes its comeback!
