Chairman's Message - December 2019

Well, have you all survived Turkey Day?  And, have you given thanks for the fact that you live in the greatest country in the world?  We should always remember that we are so fortunate to live in America.  Now, as we get ready for Christmas let’s continue our thanks for the special gift we have in being Americans.

The Sonoma County Republican Party is very busy working for our candidates.  We have three people running for county, assembly and congressional offices that we will be walking precincts for throughout December.  Phil Johnson is running for the third district supervisorial seat; Matt Nelson is running for the fourth assembly seat and Scott Giblin is running for the fifth congressional seat. 

Our candidate training in November was very successful so much so that we are holding another one on Saturday, December 14th.  Sign up on line and you can attend again if you so choose.  There is no charge.

Our Christmas party will be at our headquarters on December 18th.  Join us to celebrate all the hard work volunteers have done and all of the positive accomplishments of our President.

We are planning a town hall in Rohnert Park in January for our three candidates whose districts all encompass Rohnert Park.  Stay tuned for time and place.  

Our speaker series resumes on January 29th.  Our speaker will be Ray Navarro, Police Chief in Santa Rosa.  We will be meeting at the Finley Center in Santa Rosa.

The Republican headquarters will be open every Wednesday and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm so that people can come in and sign the recall petitions for Gavin Newsom.
