Chairman's Message - July 2019

Happy Fourth of July!   Contrary to all of the people who moan and groan about the United States of American, Republicans are proud of our country and the progress that has been made over the last 200 years plus in achieving the goals set forth in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.  We thank God for the gift of this nation and our constitution.

July will be a very busy month.  Our Leadership Group will be meeting on Saturday, July 13th.  The speaker will be Mark Meuser who ran for Secretary of State in the last election. Mark will be speaking about election law and the current situation in California regarding ballot harvesting, voter registration and the situation at the DMV.

Immediately after Mark’s training, we will have a half hour training on what working at the Sonoma County Fair will entail.  There are going to be some very specific things to know in order to work the County Fair booth.  If you plan to work at the Fair Booth, there in information you will need to know.

On September 13th, the Sonoma County Republican Party will host a dinner at the Double Tree in Rohnert Park.  Our speaker will be Harmeet Dhillon, Committee Woman for the California Republican Party, frequent contributor to Fox News and lawyer extraordinare taking on those freedom fighting battles against the people who want to regulate our freedom.  The next day Harmeet will head up the coast with Matt Heath and be with the Republicans in Humboldt County and then on up to be with the Republicans in Del Norte.  We appreciate her efforts.  Watch our web site for all the details.
