June is here which always seems to be the actual start of summer. The Republican Party of Sonoma County has a very busy summer scheduled.
Our first event will be on June 8th at Napa College where five Republican County parties have joined to bring Dinesh D’Souza and Brandon Straka to our region for a fun and educational evening. There will be 500 guests. Sonoma County is sold out. If you need a ticket, contact Yolo County here.
Our speaker at our speaker series this month is David Wolfe, Legislative Director for the Howard Jarvis Foundation. David will be with us on June 26th at our headquarters.
Our Leadership Group continues. On June 15th, our speaker will be an attorney in Sonoma County who has been in practice for 50 years. He will be training our group on the judicial system and on the judges. We had a lot of questions during the last election.
Our Leadership Group on July 13th will host candidate Mark Meuser who will be speaking on voter registration, ballot harvesting and how California is dealing with election issues.
As a reminder: If you become a member of our Patriot Club for $20 a month, you will have entry to the Speaker Series and the Leadership Group. You will also receive a Patriot Pin. Click here for more information.
The Sonoma County Republican Party has a booth at the Rohnert Park Farmers Market which is held every Friday evening. Go for a visit. We are also working hard on plans for the Sonoma County Fair. We will have a bigger booth with a lot of information. We look forward to seeing all of our friends.
If you can make calls for Jack Guerrero who is running for state Senate in southern California please do so here. Tomorrow is Election Day!
At this point, I feel it necessary to make a comment about the disaster at our southern border. Thousands of people from all over the world are crossing our borders and seeking help, jobs, money and acceptance. This total travesty of our laws and in fact of how these people are being treated is due to the refusal of the Democrats in the House of Representatives to amend the law which states that anyone wanting asylum must be allowed to enter the United States. They are so focused on damaging the President that what happens to the rest of the country does not matter. Who will pay for all of the services that these people will need? How about housing? I have not read that Nancy Pelosi has offered any rooms at her homes in San Francisco or Napa to these visitors.
Even though you may think it doesn’t do any good, call your Representative and let them know your thoughts about the matter.
Republicans in Sonoma County face very difficult times politically. That is why we must stand together and speak out when necessary.
Come join us.
